Investigate who added new value to the custom field

Hi Support, 

We recently noticed that a new field has been added without prior approval. Could you kindly help us to know who created the value 'EGGIU' in the GBU Name custom field?

Hello,

Welcome to community :) 

To know who created the customer field you can search in audit log as Custom field created

Settings > system > audit log and search for Custom field created

To know who added the value to this custom field via settings > work items > custom field > edit context and default value like below 

navigate to Settings > system > audit log and search for 

Field option created

you can check the Audit Log for field activity. This should bring information similar to the following screenshot: 06-06-_2025_15-26-18.png

The Author is showing the person who did the change.
