I want to know whether bonfire is used to test webapplication not for window applications.can any body confirm me bonfire work for both windows application and web application.or it will support only web application.

Yes...it can only be used with browsers. It is based on browser plugins.

No. The browser plugin is most effective when used for testing web apps, but you can of course create test sessions for anything.
