Is Safe and Is it good to install free add ons like Automation for Jira - Server Lite

We using Enterprise version in our organisation as issue tracking tool and project management tool , 

We find some Free add on , For example :  Automation for Jira - Server Lite 

If we install free addons like above example : 

What could be the potential impact ? , Is it occupies heap memory ? , Is it causes performance issue ?

The two potential problem with the free plugins are:

1. They may lack support

2. If you want to upgrade JIRA there may not be a compatible version 

I've never seen in the forum where a plugin was called out for being a performance problem or memory hog.

I use Automation lite on cloud and it works great. In fact it is the same code as paid version with a limit on how many automations you can run per month. It is a solid product.
