Is XML backup compatible with lower version of Jira?

Hello!

Is it possible to take XML backup from Jira 8.20.2 and import it in Jira 8.14.0, for instance?

I haven't find any information about compatibility of XML backup file.

Hi @Sesegma Tsydypova , 

usually this is not possible, as the Jira database model is very often updated between versions. It might work in some cases when there's not many changes, but from 8.20 to 8.14 I don't think it will work.

Alexis, thank you for your response. It's exactly as I thought.

I wish I had database schemes for every version of Jira to make sure if it's possible
