As a QA Manager, I would like to use Jira board as a road map using fix versions to help my team to visualise and plan out our workload for the upcoming months.

We use fix versions as delivery deadline/measure amount of time for the product we are developing.

Typically kanban/scrum board use statuses for visualise your Jira workflow(screenshot attached for an example)  but instead of the using statues, i was wondering if it is possible to use Fix versions as each of the columns instead on the board?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi @Chris Jones

I am sure you won't be able to use fix versions in columns since the board is another view of the issue's workflow.

However, you might work out a board where swimlanes are organized by fix versions using queries.

Would that meet your requirements?

Cheers,

Alex
