Is database work required when upgrading Zephyr from 3.2 to 4.0?

indicates that database changes are recommended when upgrading Zephyr TO version 3.6.

We are upgrading from version 3.2 to 40.

Does the database change need to be applied when upgrading from 3.2 to 4.0 since it passes by/through version 3.6?
