Is delete of history of statuses possible?

Hi,

My project carries a lot of issues with hundreds of days in for example status ready. Alas there is no way to throw all these stories away.

In order to get correct data for process improvement i need to have the correct duration  of statuses from now on.

I guess a change of name of status will take the history along, so one way would be a new status from now on and a bulk change of all currently really ready stories to this new status and blocking the old status in the board view.

Are there any better solutions?

Dear @Stefan Peruzzi,

you could do what you want by querying the issues history over REST API. Then you can aggregate the time-in-status for any period. Of cause this will require some coding skills.

But your approach will work.
