Is https supported at the DC JIRA node level when connecting via F5 or is it only http?

I've connected JIRA DC with the nodes using http protocol.  Is https protocol supported at the Node level when tyring to connect to F5 system

Do you mean between the node and the F5? Sure, you can either install the certs into Tomcat, or add a reverse proxy on each node to terminate SSL.
