Is it possible for a specific user present in a profield to edit a specific custom field anywhere?

Is it possible for a specific user present in a profield to edit a specific custom field, anywhere on any status of that particular issue on all the projects present.

The users are present in a profield and all of them only need to get the permission to edit just one specific custom field (containing radio buttons) at any status/transition of a particular issue. The issue can be present on any state/transition. And it can be from any workflow.

You can look at some plugins in Marketplace that provide this functionality, for example,

Could you kindly assist me with something more on this if you have worked on this.

As, I am doing some implementations now, but is is not setting permission of blocking other users apart from all whom I selected for editing that specific custom field.

• First Create a simple Custom Field plugin.

• Next, create a configuration page in Project Admin or System Admin, to configure Group and Users that will have permission to edit fields of type you have created
  • You can save configuration in Active Objects - https://developer.atlassian.com/server/framework/atlassian-sdk/active-objects-plugin-module/
• Next, while creating Custom Field Type, you have to create edit template,
  • In that template simply check for permission from your configuration.

I hope this will give you a good starting point for creating a custom solution.
