Is it possible to Edit the Sprint field when a ticket is in Cancelled status

Items in a Sprint are Cancelled or put in Cancelled status if we are no longer working on it or it is no longer required. When it is in the Cancelled status we can't Edit the Sprint field to change out the Sprint date. Is this common or can I change the workflow to allow my team to be able to Edit the Sprint field when it is in Cancelled status?

Hi @Pikk_Phengsykeo 

What you are describing would change the history of what happened during the sprint.  What problem are you trying to solve?

An issue's sprint field contains all the values where it was in a sprint when the sprint started.  Teams may use that information to learn why planned work didn't finish in the sprint, and how they might improve in the future: refinement, planning, cross-team coordination, etc.
