Yes, Scriptrunner has a fast-track transition listener that I use in one of my workflows. It will transition the issue to the next status if a checkbox is not set. Have a look at Track Transition an Issue for more information.

Hi Marcela,

You can do an auto transition to another status at create depending on a field value. But you will probably need an add-on like JMWE (Jira Miscellaneous Workflow Extensions) or Automation For Jira or ScriptRunner.
