Is it possible to change the default assignee filter?

Alexander Schiftner March 19, 2020

Is it possible to change the filter (the JQL) being used in boards when clicking on the assignee avatars?

Ideally I would like to change the JQL that's used to select issues based on the selected avatar(s).

No you can't do this. But i suggest you in your configure of your board make quick filter. In each row write your favorite jql (e.g: 1- assignee = testA and name it testA 2- assignee = testB and name it testB and so on) and after saving and back to your board at top of your view in board, you can see testA, testB and ... . By clicking on each name you can just see the issues that assign to that name. Pay attention if you click on testA and testB you don't see any issue.

Many thanks for your answer. I was thinking of doing it using quick filters, but it would have been very nice to be able to adapt the default assignee filters, because their current functionality doesn't make any sense for us.
