Instead of having it pull the date it was created? We have a project that's specific for tracking outages, and I am trying to create reports and graphs based on the outage days, not the date it was created. Since some of these tickets weren't created on the day of the outage.
If this is possible, can someone explain how I would go about starting this?
Probably the easiest thing to do would be to add a Custom Field Date Picker and call it "Incident Date" or something along those lines. You'll need to add it the screen(s) where it makes sense, as well. That will allow you to search on a date, date range or just the presence of value in that field, that is independent of the Create Date.
