Is it possible to install plugin version2 in Jira Cloud?

I have JIRA plugin written in version 2 and would like to install it on the cloud. I've seen this instruction but I suppose it is rather for JIRA connect plugin version: https://developer.atlassian.com/static/connect/docs/latest/developing/cloud-installation.html. Is there any way to install plugin version 2 on cloud?

No.  Cloud has a set list of type-2 addons you can get for it, and it's handled by Atlassian and your account.

You can't add to that list without talking to Atlassian and convincing them that it's worth it, they can support it and so-on, and if I understood the gist of AtlasCamp recently, they aren't planning to add any more at the moment.
