Is it possible to see attachment change date instead of assign date in JIRA ?

If there is an Attachment in Jira Ticket assigned, which has been attached in Jira and changed meanwhile, the date/time of attachment is always originally date.

Also in history is nothing to see about changes.

- Open the file in Jira
- Change it
- Save it - overwrite original file

Is it possible to update this information, so that user can see if something changed in file?

Note: Only if the attachment is deleted or new assigned, history and file informations will be changed.
