Is it possible to send an Outlook meeting invitation on transition based w/ a date & time field?

I need a way to send an Outlook meeting invite, scheduled for the value in a custom date & time field that will be populated on the transition screen. The meeting will last 2 hours. 

Is this possible, and if so, how?

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, Jira does not have an inbuilt integration that would allow you to send a meeting in outlook through an issue transition based on the value of a date & time field.

In fact, we opened a feature request to implement this feature in the past, however, it was not implemented due to the low amount of requirements:

As an option, there's a third-party app called Outlook Meetings for Jira that provide you with a complete feature to schedule outlook meeting through Jira issues, also considering the availability of the users involved.

Let us know if that app provides the functionality you are looking for.
