Is it possible to set up Confluence space automatically on creating a JIRA Project?

I've just started using Altassian on Demand (JIRA and Confluence). I'd like Confluence to automatically create a space for a project when it is created in JIRA. Is this possible?

This is actually the default behaviour, e.g. if you create a project with key FOO you will have:

  • https://example.atlassian.net/wiki/display/FOO/Home

created automatically. This cannot be turned off.

I'm sorry, I guess I didn't check it out before asking since the regular version of confluence doesn't have this feature. Is there a way to do this on the downloadable version?

Also, I'd like to know if this happens on an issue level. As in, when I create an issue, is it possible to automatically create a page for that issue on confluence. This page should automatically be updated when transitions happen.

Thanks,

Saneth
