Is it possible to split two projects that have shared configuration?

As a timesaver, I have created a "software" type project that shares its configuration with another "software" type project (both in same sandbox), both using Kanban boards.

Is there a way to now split these two so that they no longer have a shared configuration but would still continue to function independently?

Hi @Joe90 ,

By "shared configuration" I am assuming you mean the two projects share the same schemes for fields, screens, permissions, issue types, etc., correct?

If so then you just need to copy the schemes, rename them so you know which one goes to which project, then associate the new copied schemes to the correct project. Once you do that any changes to make to one of the configuration schemes will only impact the project it is associated with.
