As an admin one user of the team told me they're not using Kanban anymore and they use Scrum methodology, so they need the board of a project that is Kanban turn into a Scrum one.
I know is not possible to do that, a Scrum board must be created. Currently the Workflow they use doesn't include Backlog, the have Open, Reopened and Selected for Development in the To Do column. If I create the Scrum board all these issues will go to Backlog? How can I still see the ones that are In Progress?
I hope you can help me with this.
Hello @Sofia Grunspan
With a Scrum board the model of what shows on the board is different from Kanban.
A Scrum configuration includes both a Board view and a Backlog view.
The Backlog view will show all incomplete issues, and all issues that are assigned to a currently Active or planned Future sprint. The issues will be grouped by the sprint to which they are assigned, with all the incomplete issues not assigned to an active or future sprint displaying in a list labeled "Backlog".
The Board view shows all issues that are assigned to a currently Active sprint.
The display of the issue on either the Backlog screen or the Board screen is not based exclusively on the Status of the issue, which is how the Kanban board/backlog configuration works.
