Is it possible to use a granular notification scheme that notifies via slack instead of email?

I got quite excited when stumbling upon notification schemes. However, my team uses slack almost exclusively. We are currently integrated with slack in a clunky "spam this one channel with jira notifications" kind of way.

Is it possible to integrate jira into slack in a way that allows for notification schemes?
