Is my Computer too old for the latest IDE update for Android Studio?

User Machine descriptions = my computer
2014 HP - Laptop
Model: Intel (R) HD Graphics Family
Model: 8086

Can my computer handle the work done in the latest jdk in Android Studio with the drivers from the company specifications shown above?

Also, I have been told by others that this machine can not do this as the graphics card is too old. Do you agree?

This is a question you need to ask of the android ide developers, not us atlassian end-users.  (it's a good question, but asked in the wrong place)

For the record, I did wind up buying a new laptop and faster NVIDIA drivers for all Android Development. OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
System Model HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-df0xxx
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 1992 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s).

 

The drivers in Core i5 can not handle the workload.

This was my answer to the problem.
