Is the Roadmap Configurable to Display a Customised Issue Type?

Hi Community,

I was wondering whether the Roadmap for a Company Managed project is configurable to display a new issue type that I had created?

It is currently defaulted to display Epics but I have created a new issue type called Projects and would like for this to be on the Roadmap instead.

Is this possible?

Hi @Nicholas Ren,

Unfortunately, it is not. That basic roadmap is only capable to display the built-in issue hierarchy of Jira, which has 3 levels:

Epic

-> Standard Issue Types (task, story, bug, ...)

-> -> Sub-tak Issue Types (sub-task)

The Project you created is a standard issue type, so it will be displayed at the level below epics.

In Advanced Roadmaps, part of the premium plan, there is a possibility to extend that hierarchy and map issue types to levels higher up the tree. See this support article for a bit more information.
