Is there a JIRA date picker similar to the Confluence // ?

Currently we are utilizing custom fields within JIRA for customer reported date/time and resolution date/time. However, we would like to add a date picker similar to the // in Confluence so that dates may be selected from a calendar. I have been unable to find such a gadget in the Atlassian marketplace, (or anywhere else), and hope you are able to assist me.

As far as I know, there is no date picker in Jira text fields like the // in Confluence.

Jira provides a custom field type Date Picker, which uses a pop-up for date selection.
