Is there a data scraping pluggin for Jira?

Marcelo Morales February 23, 2022

I was wondering if there is a data scraping plugin for JIRA. We would like to access information across multiple projects. I am confident that I know the answer to this but wanted confirmation from the experts.

@Marcelo Morales

It depends on how you need to get the information.

Basically, you can perform data extraction from API, Atlassian Automation

Let us know your use case

Thanks

Pramodh,

Thank you. Basically we are still trying to figure out the right data we want to pull. We have many projects being worked and no standardized processes across the board. I do agree with you that JQL is the way to go. I think it would be the easiest solution.

If you need something a little more robust, there is a plugin called EazyBI. We use that for custom BI reporting that Jira cannot accomplish out of the box.

Jira has a search built into it, which can report on everything, not limited by project.   I'm not sure you really need a "data scraper"
