Is there any way we can have one field with Active Directory to pull email ID? This should show only Email ID from Active Directory. There is one team asking for this.

We did this with a database custom field but this is not integrated with Active Directory. I need to import the users as a jira ticket and get the summary details to show in the DB custom field but this is all manual. Our requirement is to get the data from AD directly so that there won't be manual work.

Any advice.

Hi @Omprakash Thamsetty ,

Are you looking for the AD attribute name for the email id? If yes,  mail is the AD attribute for E-Mail address of the user

@Sreenivasaraju PI know the AD attribute for email ID but my question was. How I can show AD attribute in one custom field. It means, I need to show all Email IDs in one custom field to select when creating a ticket. so data should come from Active directory.

Thanks,

Om

Take a look at the App "Active Directory Attribute Sync"

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212162/active-directory-attributes-sync?hosting=server&tab=overview

It should be able to sync users email, and put that in a custom field.
