Is there a narrow layout available for Jira

I like to keep Jira open on a second monitor using just 50% of that monitor. So that gives a window width of 840. (Monitor is 1680x1050).

In Jira (4.4) this means the right hand columns are cut off (People, Dates, Time tracking stuff).

Is there an "easy" way to create a template or style sheet or something that would maybe stack the Details section in one column instead of two so that I could see the whole issue?

Hi, I'd vote for https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-9802. You cannot customize the layout right now in JIRA.
