Is there a setting to permanently show issues in expanded view?

Hi, thanks in advance for your help. I'm sure this is a simple question.

I would like to default the view of the issue to "Expand issue" view permanently.

 i.e. I do not wish to see the following column on the Issue Screen;

 

Is there a setting to set the expanded view as a default?

@[deleted], are you on cloud or server? I was checking cloud and do not see a way to change the default view. It used to be configurable as I recall seeing it previously. Likely in the old UI i'm guessing. If you are on server maybe someone using it can answer for that version. Note you can use the "z" to toggle between views FWIW.

Thanks Jack, we're running the Server version, so I was hoping there was a setting somewhere in JIRA Administration.
