Is there a way I can find how many users are using the Portfolio for Jira plugin?

I have looked up this question and found no answers. I did find some questions that are similar to it and the answers are to disable the plugin and see who shouts. I would hate to do that because I don't want to get in the way of someone's work. I just want specific statistics as to how many users are actually using the plugin and which users are the one's using it. I welcome all answers, thank you in advance.

Hi @sayra_y_tineomares1

You could research what users have access or permissions within Portfolio - for example you could:

  • Access Control Permissions in the configuration to see who has view / edit access to each plan
  • Look at which Teams are using a plan or which shared teams exist
  • Look at which boards / filters / projects make up the source for each plan, and see who owns these

^ This only gets you so far though, as it doesn't visualise how many users use Portfolio for planning or reporting - which requires no specific action the platform would track. For example, a Scrum Master might be editing a plan, but his whole team might rely on the data for sprint planning.

If you're looking for an audit log of changes made to Portfolio, this isn't available at this point - see JPOSERVER-382 for that suggestion.
