Currently, we are using multiple Next-Gen projects in our JIRA cloud. When the Project is already done, we want to put them into archives to preserve the data instead of deleting the whole projects.
In Classic JIra projects, you can do this by changing the permission to archive permission scheme.
Question is, how can you do this (archive the project) with next-gen projects? since I guess there is no way to change the permission scheme for next-gen projects.
Thank you!

However, it looks to me that a Team-Managed (NextGen) Project can be archived (sort of) as follows:
The net result is that only Jira admins will have visibility to the project. It shouldn't show (even in the All Projects list) for most users, but admins will still see it.
This is a close analogy to the workaround many of us used for years to "archive" Company-Managed (Classic) Projects, before the actual archive feature was added.
