Is there a way to be notified when results of a jira filter query change?

I'm trying to come up with a way to identify scope changes to a release/version.  I have a filter set up, and want to be notified if the results change.

Hi @Georgianne Rogers,

You could subscribe to that filters and get notifications based on a timely manner.

You could also use script runner's Escalation service as well.

You need to make sure that your original query doesn't contain any result and when there are result issues, you will receive an email.
