Is there a way to configure Export options as per user permissions?

My requirement is that only users with Create and Edit Issue permissions should be able to view the Export as Word option for exporting a single issue. Users with View Issue permissions should see the Printable option, they should not be able to Export as Word.

Kindly help on how this can be achieved. Where are the settings for Export?

Your requirement has not been analysed properly.

People who can see the issue can see it and hence copy it into any format they like.  Jira provides some export formats which save some time when your people choose to export.

If you remove this, all you do is slow down people who are determined to get the export.  You're wasting their time and yours.

Much as I'd argue an export is a waste of time in itself, as it's instantly obsolete and out of context (I feel like I've wasted years in meetings where people have worked off exports and I've had to sit there saying "but that's wrong now"), I wouldn't want to stop the people who are going to use them no matter what from being able to get it in whatever format they want.

Ask again.  Why would reducing this functionality be useful?  What would it improve for your people?
