Is there a way to copy custom field value to linked issues

Hi,

I am looking to copy user field value from Project issue type to all linked milestone issues, User stores, Task and Subtask. 

Here is the link hierarchy that I have now

Project issue type 1 --> Milestones1 --> User stories1 --> Tasks1 and Subtask1

Project issue type 1 --> Milestones2--> User stories 2--> Tasks2 and Subtask2

etc..

Is there a easy way that I can do this?

May be using automation rule. If yes, then please guide how I can achieve this.
