Trying to figure out a way to send a cell phone alert (text message) if a certain issue type is opened. We use On Demand and I am not sure of a way to set up an event to send a text message to a cell phone or if it is even possible.
I'd create an Atlassian Connect add-on to listen for the right issue then use a service like Twilio to send out a sms notifying of the issue.
Internally, no, nothing specific.
But you could set up a trigger to poke something into a remote service. Although the most simple solution would be to use the standard event/notification to send email to a dummy account which could parse the content and relay it to your SMS provider. (Guess who's done that before...)
