Is there a way to customize dashboards?

My team will begin using Jira Cloud soon and I had a question on the look of the dashboards. Is there a way to visibly separate tasks in a list? I know there is a faint line between each task, but can we make that darker? The most customization I found was changing the color of the top bar.

If you are referring to customizing a specific Gadget used in a Dashboard, the options available to you are whatever the gadget shows when you click on its ... button and select Configure.

I don't think the native gadgets let you modify the appearance in terms of colors, font, or line weight.

Just to add to Trudy's answer. Native gadgets cannot be modified when it comes to colors, fonts, etc. For that you would need an app, we are using Custom charts for Jira but there are other apps in the Marketplace that can do this too.
