Is there a way to determine how long an issue has had a component assigned?

I am trying to organize issues using components in a dashboard.  I'd like to see when an issue was assigned to a component and use that for filtering.  Is there a way to do that in Jira Server?

@JP Welcome, & unfortunately I dont think there is any way to track how long ago a component was assigned to an issue and use it for filters.
