Is there a way to display story points alongside the summary on a kanban board when viewing by story

We use the story view on our kanban board which displays each story as it's own swimlane with the associated sub-tasks within each lane.

The story summary and status are displayed for each but I'd also like to display the story points for each story.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I also thought @Thomas Magny-Garcia was correct about Card layout when I was reading this, but I've tried and it only affects the sub-tasks showing under each parent. I don't think that the parent in this view is configurable, sadly

If I understand correctly, I think the Board settings may help you.
Go to your Board settings, then to Issue Details View (or Card layout, depending on your needs) and add the Story points field where you want it.

Thanks Thomas, not quite as this only changes the view when you click into the story itself. Whereas I want to show the story points on the board itself alongside the story summaries.

Ok, I am using Scrum board. I don't know for Kanban board, but I think you can customize the view.
Have you tried with the Card layout settings? According to https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/customizing-cards-764478020.html, it is possible the same way...
Indeed, I think the Card layout settings answer better to your question than Issue Details view settings.
