We have some views in Advanced Roadmaps that we want to never be changed, except by a select few individuals. I have found how to restrict edit/view rights for a plan, but not for a single view in the plan. Is there a way to make a view read only for some users?
Hi @David Wuth,
I have looked through both the documentation and all the permission settings I can find and I am afraid this is not possible currently.
It seems that the people with edit permissions on a plan also have the power to modify and save changes to views.
yes, that is what I have found also. I was hoping there might be some permission setting I had not found in the documentation.

Hi @David Wuth
Have you tried this?
Manage your plan permissions within Advanced Roadmaps:
From the Roadmap view, navigate to settings using the next to your plan name > Configure.
On the left sidebar, navigate to Permissions. You can grant view and edit permissions to individual users or groups, or make it visible to all Advanced Roadmaps users.
Cheers,
Alex

@Alex That applies to the plan. I was hoping for a similar permission configuration for each view within a single plan.

Yeah, I am afraid one cannot do it on a view level. But, I found this JSWCLOUD-21618 suggestion on public Jira, and you might want to shine in your use case and vote for that.
Cheers,
Alex
