Is there a way to make unmapped statuses visible in the backlog?

dcaron567 December 20, 2023

Currently trying to create a workflow for backlog grooming. I have made several statuses that I don't necessarily want on my sprint board, but are intended for backlog issue statuses. Currently if I select any of the unmapped statuses on an issue it disappears from the backlog. Is there a way around this or perhaps an alternative way to track something like this without making a separate board?

No, because by definition, issues that would not appear on the board, are not backlog items.

The board and backlog are not separate things, they're two ways of looking at a single list (a part of the list for the board)

The way to track the issues you are missing is to map their status on the board.

Didn't think so, thank you!
