Is there a way to natively track Time in Status in Jira and build a report in Confluence with it?

Kevin R February 19, 2019

Hi there,

I'm a big fan of the Confluence "Jira Charts" macro and use it to do all of our reporting from Jira. I'm curious if there's a way I can capture "Time in Status" for individual tickets and display it on the report.

Below I've displayed a mockup of what I would like.

Is there a filter or field I can add to a screen in Jira that pull this information for my report in Confluence.

This would be for Jira Server. Not Cloud.

Hope that all made sense. Thanks!

Hello Kevin,

You can not do that natively. You can see Transitions in Jira issue tab panel but that can't be used in Confluence reports/gadgets.

If you are willing to use some apps;

Enhancer Plugin has Time in Status (Status Timer) field which can give every detail about the status times in the ticket. You can also see them in Confluence gadgets.
