Is there a way to rename a user id in Jira that has been synced from AD ?

I want to rename a user id that has been synced from AD - problem is even my AD Sycn functionality isnt working

Yes but you need to ensure that in the LDAP Permissions, the Read/Write option is enabled.

However your user in the LDAP need to have the modification permission in the AD server.

No Viana - I have something like this , the username in Jira at the moment is Form100JIRAServiceAc and in AD , it is Form100JIRAService . I have no idea how this happened ?

Well Guilherme , I just deleted the old user id in AD and created a new one. Thank you .
