We have some private systems that we frequently link to and they have a fixed naming scheme.  What I want to do is allow users to type normal text and an ID code, but for that to be replaced with the hyperlink.

I know the behavior already exists for JIRA and Confluence issues in the form of [SPACE-Number] but I'm wanting to do the same thing with non-Atlassian systems.  Is there a way I can do this?

For example, I'd like to be able to type [Goals 1234] and it link to http://mysite.mydomain.com/system/goals?id=1234

I know that I can already do [Goals 1234|http://mysite.mydomain.com/system/goals?id=1234] but I'm looking for the shortcut to save typing the link for all of the users.

Thanks,

Jarrod

Hi @Jarrod Stykes ,

Please note that the JIRA and Confluence (being Atlassian products) achieve this using Application Links behaviour.  Unfortunately, this does not work for external links.
