Is there a way to save edits to release notes?

When I select the release notes and double click into the release notes box to make edits but my edits aren't saving. Is there a workaround for this?

@cgolaub this is the behaviour of out of the box release notes feature in Jira. If you are looking for something more elaborate, there are bunch of release notes apps available on the marketplace.

If you are happy to just copy paste the release notes content and do not need to heavily automate them, you can look at the free version of Automated release notes.

It appears this is a known bug with no workaround.
