Is there a way to see JUST epics in a backlog, so you can prioritize for the future?

The goal is planning for future work, and being able to have visibility into epic-level items to have priority and trade-off discussions. 

All i really want to do is have a view of Epics in a backlog (with a certain label, like "Roadmap planning" or similar). 

I can't see a way to have epics in a backlog BESIDES that skinny little panel on the left next to the scrum board. I want the epics in their OWN board like stories are today, SO THAT we can drag them higher or lower priority and have that maintained. 

Please help with ideas on my goal (maybe there's other ways to solve)?

Hi Alex,

Just create a new board where the filter is something like:

Project = ABC and issuetype = Epic ORDER BY Rank ASC

Then only map the Backlog status to a single column on your board.

Would that solve what you need?
