We have a Service project set up for our IT Service Desk wherein users submit tickets using the /assist command within Slack. If an issue reported is out of the scope of the Service Desk we move that ticket to a Software project. But after a ticket is routed to a non-Service project, the users are no more able to get updates on their tickets. Is there a way to provide users with an update on such tickets which are routed to the software projects? Please note that the users have Service Desk Customers role on the Service projects which do not require additional license to be assigned to them.
You would need to allow anonymous (public) browse access to the project for people without a Jira ID to see the issue.
Hi Joe, thanks for your response. Hmm...when I checked for Permissions under Project Settings, I couldn't find any such permission. I even tried to browse the Permission helper, but there is no Anonymous or Public browse access permission listed. Do I need to check somewhere else for this?
