Is there a way to share all available workflows with JIRA users?

Hello all,

I would like to know if there is a way to share all available JIRA workflows (diagrams?!) with users so that they can choose which of them they need.
Is there any plugin or something else?

Hi Iro,

I studied the interesting approaches that are written in the article which Mariana posted (thanks for that as well!).

During that I might understand there are basically two use cases

• sharing the workflow with other users (probably other Jira instances) so they can import them
• sharing the "structure" of the workflow for a better understanding so they can choose

The App mentioned in the linked article addresses in my opinion variant 1.) - unfortunately it is unsupported nowadays.

I am more familiar with variant 2.) and came across use cases where this was a very traditional documentation task (probably) using Confluence - or some other tooling as per your choice.
It can take some time to take screenshots and document what the specific workflows are about but assuming they are not changing very often this can be a feasible way.

The cases where this was used the users like the approach very much.
