Is there a way to sort by a text field?

Is there a gadget that will display\group by small text fields (assuming some will be identical)? 

I know 'Filter Statisitcs' will do it, but it won't group if there are any identical.

@Kelly Hawke You can sort but there is no grouping functionality.  You can easily do this in filters that feed the gadget.  There are a couple that also offer sorting but no grouping.
