Is there a way to stop Jira from stripping the formatting from an email?

We are emailing Jira with tables from a form from another software programme.  When the email imports into Jira it strips out the rich text/html so we lose the formatting of the table in the email.

This makes the information not as easy to read on the boards.

Is there a way to turn this off so Jira imports the email with the formatted table?
