Is there a way to subscribe to new versions of JIRA and Confluence?

I'd like a way to be notified when new major versions of JIRA and Confluence are released, and to learn what changes are included.

If you use a RSS reader you could subscribe to JIRA Knowledge Base Blog. In your RSS reader search this name or https://confluence.atlassian.com and add it.
