Is there a way to use Initiative issue type to provide a top level view of all Epics in the project?

The PMO has requested a top view of all projects using Plans.

Currently I have an Initiative type ticket and linked all Epics in the project to it.

The issue I am encountering is that the dates are not rolling up to provide the final date in the Initiative, the many levels have to be opened for it to reveal the dates.

When viewing the plan, we want to see the rolled up date without having to open the project to see the dates.

Have you already tried using the roll-up dates function within Advanced Roadmaps? 

The roll-up dates function allows you to schedule and update parent issues based on the dates of its child issues. From the View settings menu on your plan, you can choose to roll up dates, and ensure that your filter includes Initiative within your hierarchy filter.
