Is there an expiry date on invites to join Jira

When I add a new user does the invite email that is sent out to them have an expiry date?  It used to say a couple of days but it doesn't say now and there is nothing on the users pages to indicate that an invitation has expired.

I need to know to save confusing new users whose managers may request access a week before they start!
